On June 2nd, 2007 Iceland Express has commenced direct flights from EuroAirport to Reykjavik.
On Saturday, 2 June 2007 Iceland Express has commenced direct flights from EuroAirport to Reykjavik. Until the end of August, the Icelandic low-cost airline will operate one flight a week to Reykjavik, departing every Saturday from EuroAirport at 13.30 hours. After only three hours flight time, passengers will arrive at 15.30 hours local time in the Icelandic capital. The return flight from Europe’s most northerly capital leaves at 07.00 hours and arrives at 12.45 at EuroAirport. Iceland Express is now the only airline offering a direct Iceland connection from Switzerland, and via EuroAirport this also brings Iceland closer to the three-country region, to France and Germany.
A one-way flight with Iceland Express, including all taxes and charges, is available from € 99 on the website www.icelandexpress.de. Children under the age of 12 and accompanied by adults only pay half price, plus taxes and charges.
