easyJet expands its presence at EuroAirport
Two additional aircraft and five new destinations
With the arrival of two additional aircraft, easyJet will offer five new routes from EuroAirport starting November 2010 (winter timetable 2010/2011): Dresden, Edinburgh, Copenhagen, Venice and Gran Canaria. The easyJet fleet at EuroAirport will thereby mount to a total of six aircraft during the course of the year.
The first new Airbus A319 has landed at EuroAirport on June 24, while the second is expected on December 3. easyJet continues to expand its base at the airport with the new aircraft providing a valuable economic growth for the whole tree-country region, as they will create 70 new jobs with easyJet and potentially carry 500 000 more passengers.
