Timetable news for scheduled flights in winter 2007-2008
- two new airlines: Air Berlin and Ryanair
- eight new scheduled destinations: Bari, Dublin, Funchal, Gerona, Nuremberg, Porto, Stockholm, Valencia
- around 500 departures per week, 62 airports, 58 cities
  

The new winter timetable for EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (28.10.2007 – 29.03.2008) offers eight new scheduled destinations: Bari (2x weekly) and Funchal (2x  weekly) with TUIfly, Dublin (3x weekly), Gerona (4x  weekly), Stockholm (3x  weekly) and Valencia (4x weekly) with Ryanair, Porto (3x  weekly) with easyJet as well as Nuremberg (2x weekly) with Air Berlin.

EuroAirport is particularly pleased to welcome two new airlines operating from EuroAirport for the first time:

- Air Berlin with one based aircraft who will be offering direct connections to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Tenerife and Hurghada and an additional 27 other destinations via the hubs of Palma de Mallorca and Nuremberg.
- Ryanair, who will be launching five routes to Alicante, Barcelona, Dublin, Stockholm and Valencia.


In total 18 airlines will be serving 62 airports in 58 cities this winter from EuroAirport, making for around 500 departures per week.

In the first eight months of 2007, EuroAirport was used by 2.9 million passengers. This represents an increase of 10% compared to the same period last year. The number of flight movements (take offs and landings) rose by 2% in the same period (January to August 2007). EuroAirport expects to reach a passenger figure of 4.350 million by the end of 2007.
