- The day after the EURO 08 match between Switzerland and Portugal in Basel, EuroAirport expects to handle 170 flights (84 landings, 86 starts) as normal commercial traffic (scheduled and charter flights).
- There will be 7 additional EURO 08 charter flights (4 landings and 3 starts).
- 18 additional taxi flights (8 landings and 10 starts) are expected.
- Altogether, EuroAirport will be greeting around 14 000 passengers throughout the day.
- At the time of publication, traffic operations are running smoothly.


Forecast for tomorrow, Tuesday, 17 June 2008

 

- The day of the EURO 08 match between Holland and Romania, which will take place tomorrow evening at 8.45 pm in Bern, EuroAirport expects to handle 162 flights (81 landings, 81 starts) as normal commercial traffic (scheduled and charter flights).
- There will be 16 additional EURO 08 charter flights (8 landings and 8 starts).
- 18 additional taxi flights (9 landings and 9 starts) are expected.
- Throughout the morning, EuroAirport will be handling around 60 busses which will transport Dutch fans to the match in Bern.
- Altogether, EuroAirport will be greeting around 14 000 passengers throughout the day.

 

Since the beginning of 2008 and on average, EuroAirport has been welcoming around 10 600 passengers and handling 165 flights per day.
